Deep and Wide

And may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it. Ephesians 3:18-19 (TLB)

The Bible speaks over and over again of God’s love but do we truly grasp the extent of the all-encompassing gift? In our heads we agree but when it comes to our hearts, we may doubt. We look at what happened yesterday and think we weren’t good enough. The really astounding thing is – we don’t have to be (good enough). Jesus was and is. The only thing we need to do is love him. And oh by the way, that love no matter what condition it is in is also received, welcomed and cherished – unconditionally.
