Everyone includes us!

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 NIV

Two thousand years ago, Jesus promised to return. He hasn’t come yet. Why? That is a question many people are asking. Our verse today shares why. He doesn’t want anyone to perish. He wants everyone to have eternal life. He is waiting for us to decide for or against Him. He is giving us more time to repent and turn to Him. Yes, there will be a time when there will not be any more time left, and this world will be like it was before the flood.

The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. Genesis 6:5 NIV
