Who is the thief that Jesus is referring to here? It is Satan. Satan does not have our best interest at heart. He is here to destroy and mislead us. Adam and Eve choose to believe his lies. Our loving God provided a way to life for us. That is why Jesus came to this earth. He came to show us the love that the Father has for us. Jesus choose to take our punishment for our sins so that we may have eternal life. He is the Good Shepherd – follow Him.
